| Rugby |
Rugby was a horse we rescued in November. He was a seven year old Standardbred with a tall, lanky body and an ugly jughead. Still, he had a heart of gold. I really loved him. He had been neglected at his racing farm and was sold when he stopped placing in races. We got him back to a good weight and I started him on the flat and got him going w/t/c, yielding to pressure, and backing. I started him over poles and low fences. He was sold two months ago as a Dressage prospect.

| Serendipity |
Serene was a sad case. Our friend rescued her from Sugarcreek Auction and could no longer care for her, so she basically begged us to take her. Serene was very thin, with a nasty temperment. She refused to go anywhere when you led her, she bit, and lunged, and kicked other horses. I, at first, hated her because of her rudeness. But once she got used to the farm and gained weight, her true personality shone through. She was a very honest mare and I was able to lightly start her under saddle. She
